    Description

    This is a precision ground, hardened steel VTC limiter pin that will reduce the maximum VTC advance to 40* (from 50* max without pin).  It is used in conjunction with the Honda 14310-RBC-003 50* VTC gear (used on K20 engines) - NOT INCLUDED.
    It is most commonly used on K24 engines with the RBC gear to increase the maximum VTC advance (since those engines are equipped with a 25* 'RBB' VTC gear from the factory).  The maximum advance needs to be limited to ~40* to prevent piston to valve contact on stock K24 engines (and some K20 cam/piston combinations).
    Without the limiter pin, there is a possibility that the cam can advance further than desired, and cause engine damage.  It is the buyer's responsibility to confirm that 40* advance is safe for their specific engine configuration.
