Grateful Dead Fans !!! ... and those Fans of the Rock Art Master - Alton Kelley !!  Well, I bet this Artwork might look familiar - or ... at least I sure hope so !  This is the Vintage Original ! ( Genuine / Authentic ) 1983 Handbill ! that was printed & released to promote the Classic ! ( Legendary !! ) 1983 Grateful Dead Book ... " The Official Book Of The Deadheads " !!!  Clearly, and without question one of the most influential pieces of Grateful Dead Art - from the 1980's ! ... and arguably too - of All-Time !  The Art Masterpiece of the one & only Alton Kelley !  Colorful - Bright & Bold - as this is an image that really just ' Speaks ' ... or, as I should probably say - " Sings ! ".  Sings Grateful Dead Rock & Roll Songs ! - that is.  Whoa !!!  What Amazing ! Colors & Artwork on this one.  My goodness too ... as I would truly like to have an official ' Head Count ' - on just how-many Fans ! the " Book of the Deadheads " .... turned-on to the Band !  Or, of course ... also the count of Fans that the Band ! turned on to the Band - but, then those Fans just also had to have this G.D. Book fast !  It is just so Amazing ! - and, there's really no other way to say it.  Basically, it offers a snap-shot of the Grateful Dead ! - their Music - their Fans - the Scene - I mean you name it ... and, just to consider that this was all " Pre-1983 " !!!  There's no question that the Dead scene was smaller - and more ' organic ' really - through & through from 1965-1983 ... and really through 1987.  As, for better or worse - well, and then ... " Touch of Grey " came-along !!  Just enough to change the scene forever - as then it was soon time for Stadium Tours ! - mainly, on the Summer Tours.  If you've ever seen the Grateful Dead in the ( what ? - say 80,000 + ) old Giants Stadium - then, you will know where I'm coming from there.  Any Grateful Dead Book as Great as " The Official Book Of The Deadheads " needs some seriously Fantastic ! Artwork ... and Wow ! did Kelley ever deliver with this one.  So much, in fact - that this Beautiful ! Art Design was even selected as one of the two major 1983 Grateful Dead Summer Tour " T-Shirt " designs for the Tour !  Now that is some Pretty-Impressive Art Rock !  So yes, here you go - the Vintage-Original ! 1983 Handbill of the Famous Kelly Cover Art of " The Official Book Of The Deadheads " for you to frame !  And, naturally ... last, but most-certainly not least ... This Grateful Dead " The Official Book of the Deadheads " Handbill ( Promotional Flyer / Poster ) featuring the Classic ! Grateful Dead 1983 Artwork by Alton Kelley is in overall Very Good condition.  Handbill has a few light indentations - including a light/shallow corner dog-ear type crease on the upper right corner (please see photos/photo #6).  The Handbill is on thin & smooth paper, and measures approximately Five Inches by Seven Inches ( 5" x 7" ).  Please see all photos provided.  Photos included are of the actual item you will receive.  The Amazing ! '83 G.D. Book of the Deadheads Artwork by the one & only Alton Kelley !! ... Enjoy !!!
