Jerry Garcia !!!  Or, as many Dead Fans like myself like to call him ... the ' Real ' King of Rock 'n Roll !!!!!  Sorry about that Elvis - and hopefully no offense taken.  But, you know ...  Ha !  As this is indeed the December '95 Issue of Guitar Player - which was of
course the 1st postmortem Issue featuring the One & Only ! " Jerry Garcia " on the Cover ... " The Jerry Garcia Interviews " Issue.  Which, was timed rather well for Garcia & Grateful Dead Fans to read ... as Jerry Garcia's untimely passing - for which would ever change both the Grateful Dead and Rock & Roll World - happened on August 9, 1995 ( 8/9/1995 ).  So, my point being ... thinking back to this ' transitional-time ' - to say the very least - Everyone ! was missing Jerry badly !  As some Fans even had Fall Tour 1995 Grateful Dead Tickets ! in-hand for Shows which never did end up happening ... as it was ultimately decided by the remaining Grateful Dead Members that the band name " Grateful Dead " would properly stay ' with ' Jerry, and as a result ... " The Grateful Dead " would never-ever play again - billed-as ' The Grateful Dead '.  And ... as for this Issue - Wow !!! - " The " Jerry Garcia Interview(s) ! ... and, like I said - what perfect timing for the Fans to read.
And, as all of you fellow Dead Fans could well imagine ...
for all obvious
reasons -
this item is a definite Must-Read ! & likely a Must-Own !! too for really any die-hard Garcia

Good overall.  This Magazine shows heavy cover wear & tear, as shown in the photos provided.  Aside from some page creasing on the first few pages - the majority of all inside pages are in Very Good condition, or close to it.  This Magazine was read frequently for reference upon its initial issue in '95, and has been collected only for years.  There are no missing pages, writing, water damage, etc. - just the significant cover wear & tear mentioned.  A solid copy indeed, for all of the info inside - but, not so much for the Collector of excellent condition items.  Perfect for most-all real " Guitar Players " though, for sure.

front cover mailing label either, which is often viewed as a big plus+ to some Fans, and especially when it's Garcia !! gracing the Front-Cover ! -
