Dead Fans ... and just to Think ?!? that this Incredible !!! 1985 Edition ( Issue #6 ! ) of The Good Ol' "Golden Road" ! is actually now well ' Over ' 30-Years Old ! at this point in Time ... & Space !!!  As this is indeed arguably the most Collectible & Sought-After Issue of All ! of the 1984 to 1993 Golden Road Magazines ... simply because of the Amazing-Cover-Art ! - by the one & only Stanley Mouse !!!  Wow !!!!!  Featuring an ' Electric Lightning Bolt Alien Skeleton Roses Design ' !!! - quite similar to Mouse's Legendary ! " Lightning Rose " Design.  As this issue is obviously well-worthy of Framing ! & putting with your Grateful Dead Art & Poster Collection ... with all Thanks ! due to The Mouse !!!  And too ... if that's not enough by itself on this beyond-incredible " Golden Road " Issue - well then ... how about This ! --- an Incredible ! Interview Article with Jerry Garcia titled " Garcia - On Film, Video & ' The Twilight Zone ' " !!!  As being 1985 and all ... this was indeed right around the time where The Grateful Dead ! recorded for The Twilight Zone !!!  Pure ! Rock & Roll History ! for sure, I say ... Whoa !!?!  And too ... the Interview / Articles don't stop here by any means ... as you also have an Interview with Donna Jean Godchaux !! - and with Dave Hassinger too ... who produced for the Grateful Dead in the studio in 1967 !  And, it's most-definitely Grateful Dead ' Folklore ' on just how well they all worked together ... Ha ! - Not-Quite !!  Classic ...  And, there is even a piece in here too about the ' upcoming ' brand new Grateful Dead Book " Playing In The Band " - which, sure enough became yet another Grateful Dead Classic ! release ... and almost right up there with " Deadheads " !!  " The Golden Road " was published all the way until 1993 ( founded in 1984 ) - and this very-early Issue # 6 here is without any-question the most " Highly-Collected " Issues of them all, obviously because of the Rare Cover Art by Stanley Mouse !  I'm almost positive that this was even the ' Only ' Cover Art that Mouse ! ever even did for " The Golden Road " - as I can't say with absolute certainty, as I didn't own all of " The Golden Road " Magazines - but ... I almost had them all at one time, and I don't recall any other Mouse Art ... and am not quite sure why ?  But, either way ... this Mouse design is indeed a Pure Creative Gem !!!  This Issue is simply Loaded ! with all-kinds of Grate ! Stuff ... the Incredible! Garcia Interview !! ... and the Donna & Hassinger Interviews too.  And, as for the Photos inside ?!? ... just look up at the top of this listing for the Photo Credits ! ... as they are nothing-short of Remarkable !!  If you dig your '85 " Twenty-Years-So-Far ! " Grateful Dead as much as I do ... then You are in for a serious Treat ! with this Issue ... as it is simply Excellent !!!  Wow ... right ?!  I mean seriously, my fellow Dead Fans ... as let's be blunt here, in the Spring of '85 - could any good Deadhead even ask for any-more than This ?  What a " Wow ! " '85 Issue !!  Extremely-Impressive, as " The Golden Road " went way beyond the Dead Fan " call of duty " here in this Issue # 6 ... in the Spring of 1985 ! - even offering Oakland through Nassau Winter / Spring Tour Set lists !!!  Beyond-memorable G.D. Events all-over this Issue from close to Three-Decades ago ... and you still ! can't help but getting completely-Excited ! & Smiling !! while reading ' All ' of This !  I mean this was-indeed such a beyond vitally-important & critical-time in the 30-Year Touring Timeline of The Grateful Dead !!!  As this was still way ' prior ' to Garcia's near-death coma experience well over a year later in July of '86.  They sure don't mak'em them like this anymore - over 40-Pages ! of G.D. Vital-Info !! & Deadhead Bliss !!! ... and, all in just one seriously-collectible Issue -- Issue #6 !  Featuring Legendary ! Stanley Mouse Cover Art !!!  Enjoy !!!!!!!
Item Condition :
This Golden Road Magazine ( Issue 6 / 1985 Spring ) is in Good condition - close to Good/Very Good overall.  There is some medium surface wear, creasing, some light staining & natural aging on the cover, corners & on some inside pages - including light indentations.  There are some ' standard ' stray ink marks throughout the covers, from the printing & distribution process (please see photos).  All inside pages are also in Very Good condition - close to Very Good/Like New overall - with light indentations, and a few assorted stains.  Medium signs of wear & use, and this Issue has been collected only inside protective plastic for the last couple of decades.  Please see all photos provided.  Photos included are of the actual item you will receive.  The Golden Road ! - 1985 Winter / Issue 6 Edition !! - Featuring " Mouse !
