'85 Issue of the 1984 to 1993 Golden Road Magazines ... Featuring the Hilarious ! - ' Timely ' - & So-Cool ! " Deadhead Color Comic Cover Art " !!! - by Tim Gleason !  Two '80's Gals ( with one even rocking an '80's style Esprit ! Sweatshirt ! ) ... & " Joe The Deadhead " Himself ! - with the Classic tag-line ... " Joe's A Nice Guy But There's Something Weird About Him ... You Don't Think He's A Deadhead Do You ?!! " Set lists " from Charlotte ( NC ) through Berkeley ( CA ) are also included inside !  Dang ... does this Issue bring-back so many Fond ! Memories.  I mean Fans ... just Look ! at this Cover !!!  Ha !  One of the Most-Classic ! Issues from " The Golden Road " Magazine Series !  And, as for the Photos inside ?!? ... Whoa ! --- just some Incredible ! Photos of the Band Members ... with some Legendary ! ones of both Jerry, Weir, Phil & the Boys !  As a quick look at the photo-credits for this issue well-shows.  Way-Impressive ... !  I mean if you dig your '85 " Twenty-Years-So-Far " Grateful Dead as much as I do ... then You are in for some serious Treats ! inside this Fall '85 Issue ... as it is Excellent !!!  I mean seriously, my fellow Dead Fans ... as let's be blunt here, in Early ' Winter ' '85 - could any good Deadhead even ask for any-more than This ?  What a " Wow " '85 Issue !!  Extremely-Impressive, as " The Golden Road " went way-beyond the Deadhead " call of duty " here in this Issue # 5 ... way-back in the Fall of 1985 ! - just past the mid-point of the " Twenty Years So Far " Celebration !!!  Gimmie 5 ! ... I'm Still Alive !!  Beyond-memorable G.D. Events all-over this Issue from close to Three-Decades ago ... and you still ! can't help but getting  Completely-Excited ! & Smiling !! while reading ' All ' of This !  I mean this was-indeed such a beyond vitally-important & critical-time in the 30-Year Touring Timeline of The Grateful Dead !!!  As this was still ' way-prior ' to Garcia's near-death coma experience close to a year and a half later in July of '86.  They sure don't make'em them like this anymore - over 40-Pages ! of G.D. Vital-Info !! & Deadhead Bliss !!! ... and, all in just one seriously-collectible Issue -- Issue # 5 !  " 20-Years-So-Far " ( & More ! ) ... of Good Ol' " Mid-'80's " Grateful Dead !!  And too ... " Deadhead Joe ! ... from Me to You !! "  Ha !  Enjoy !!!!!

This Golden Road Magazine ( Issue 5 / 1985 Winter ) is in Very Good condition - close to Very Good/Like New overall.  There is a small cover corner tear located on the bottom left front cover corner, and a small ink pen asterisk located on page 24 in the left column.  This issue has minimum edge/surface wear & indentations, outside of these blemishes mentioned - as this Classic ! Winter '85 " Golden Road " Issue is in close to Like New condition - Very Good/Like New overall ... and is close-to 35-Years ! old.  There are some ' standard ' stray ink marks throughout the covers, from the printing & distribution process (please see photos).  Light signs of wear/use otherwise, as this Issue has been very carefully ' collected ' inside protective plastic for the last couple of decades.  Please see all photos provided.  Photos included are of the actual item you will receive.  The Golden Road - 1985 Winter / Issue 5 Edition ! - Featuring Deadhead Color Comic Cover Art ... of " Deadhead Joe & Friends !!!
