Dead Fans !! ... and just to Think ?!? that this Fall 1986 Edition of The Good Ol' "Golden Road" ! is actually now well ' Over ' 30-Years Old ! at this point in Time ! ... & Space !!  " The Golden Road " was published all the way until 1993 ( founded in 1984 ) - and this relatively-early Issue # 12 here is without any-question one of " The " Most-Quintessential ! Issues of the Entire " Golden Road " Magazine ( Fanzine ! ) to read, own ... & Collect !  And, simply because this issue offers an interview between Steve Marcus ( GDTS Ticket Manager ), and the one & only ... Jerry Garcia !  And, this was one of the very-first in depth ' contacts ' made with Jerry from & for the Deadhead Faithful ... to really check in on him - and see how he was doing.  And, naturally ... Jerry cuts pretty to the point, and tells it like it is ... hence, the article/interview title " Garcia : The point is I survived it. Here I am ".  Wow ... and my oh my, did Garcia make a Heavy-Duty Impact ! on the Rock & Roll World during this come-back ... Events close to Three-Decades ago ... and you still ! can't help but getting completely-Excited ! & Smiling !! while reading All of This !  I mean this was-indeed such a beyond vitally-important & critical-time in the 30-Year Touring Timeline of The Grateful Dead !!!  Garcia was just very-freshly to the point of " getting his chops & voice back " after the '86 near-death coma experience ... and this is also just a about a year or less ' Before ' the Grateful Dead " In The Dark " ... & ' Touch Of Grey ' resurgence - and Phenomenon !!  And ... just to think too - that this-here 1987 Excitement ! was really the leading-up-to the Magical ! ' Live-Energy ' period of the Magnificent ! '89-'90 Grateful Dead Era !!  Which, many Fans do collectively feel was the Last-True " Prime " of the Grateful Dead.  They sure don't mak'em them like this anymore - close to 40-Pages of G.D. Vital-Info & Bliss ! ... and, all in just one Issue -- Issue #12 ! ... with quite the Cool ! Cover Art too - Rockin' the " Grateful Alligator !! " - for - " The Golden Road " !!!  Completely-fabulous ... Enjoy !!!!!

This Golden Road Magazine ( Issue 12 / 1986 Fall ) is in Very Good/Like New condition - very close to Like New overall.  There are some standard stray ink marks on the cover back, from the printing & distribution process ... and the Front Cover itself is Like New, or very close to it (please see photos/close-up photos).  All inside pages are in Very Good/Like New condition - very-close to Like New, with no condition issues to mention.  As shown in the photos provided, this is a very-rare close to Like New Issue of this 1986 Fall " The Golden Road " - with " Alligator " Cover Art ( by Lisa Shaftel ).  Very-light signs of use only, careful ' collecting ', and natural aging.  Please see all photos provided.  Photos included are of the actual item you will receive.  The Golden Road ! - 1986 Winter / Issue 12 Edition !!  Featuring Articles on Both !!
