This is a Completely-Sweet !!! issue for certain - and it is one of the rarer 1990's Editions - representing the Massive ! Summer Tour '90 ! and all ... Wow !!?! Arguably ... the last " Grrrrr-ate ! " Tour of the Grateful Dead !! - and too ... as we all well know - Brent's Very-Last. " The Golden Road " was published all the way through 1993. And My-Goodness ! Fans - as this-one here is a heavy-duty Issue !! I mean even though it features the happenings of G.D. Events a few Decades ago ... you still ! can't help but getting Excited & Smiling ! while reading this ! I mean this was-indeed such an important & vital-time in the 30-Year Touring Timeline of The Grateful Dead !!! I mean the Spring 1990 Tour just went off ... and as all of us Fans well know - it Really ! " Went-Off !!! ". As the 3 Tour-Opening Shows at the Cap Centre were so Incredibly-Hot ! that the Band could have just " walked-off ! " - Ha !! But, nope ... and continued to Smoke ! that whole darn Tour !!! For goodness sakes ... as there is even a " We Want Phil ! " Interview in here just-after Phil's 50th B-Day ( 3/15/90 - Landover ) delivered on 4/18/90 ! There is a Mean ! Shot of Bobby Ace's Short-Shorts too ... from '88 at The Greek !!! Just think ... " Blackbird " ! Hah !! Some Great ! Photos ... old-school - new-school - I mean you name it - including some Killer ! Shots of Phil ( Expo 1984 !!! ) ... and a couple of nice ones of Garcia !! too. Full reviews from the Spring '90 Tour - set lists - ' new ' lyric change breakdowns ( B.T. Wind ! ) - and some-more nice short of Bobby & even of Pigpen too !! There is even a hot-shot of Akron's own Chrissie Hynde ( from The Pretenders ) Rockin' ! an '89 GDM Spiral Skeleton Tie-Dye !!! Dang, as these were " The-Daze " !! my fellow Fans - and quite possibly my G.D. hey(now!)day as well ... '89-'90 !!!!! I mean where there is Smoke ! - there is often Live-Dead Fire !! & Lightning !!! They sure don't mak'em them like this anymore - over 50-Pages of G.D. Vital-Info & Bliss ! - and, all in just one Issue - Issue # 23 ! - the " Fall 1990 " Edition !!! ... Enjoy !!!!!

This Golden Road Magazine ( Issue 23 / 1990 Summer ) is in Acceptable/Good condition. Cover and Inside Pages are in Acceptable/Good condition, with some cover tearing & water-damage on the inside and outside, with medium signs of use/wear (surface wear, indentations, etc.) in addition. Completely readable, with no page-sticking issues - usually common with water/moisture issues. All of the moisture issues with this magazine are cosmetic-only, and do not affect the pages or reading & enjoying ! of the pages. Being Summer '90 ! and all - this is a Rare & Excellent ! issue - which I'm thinking you are quite glad to see has finally surfaced ! - straight from my treasured G.D. Vault !
