Dead Fans !!!  So, do you remember this Fantastic ! Grateful Dead logo !?  The " Viking-Skull !!! " Logo used in the Mid-'60's ... 1967 !!!  In fact, I'm pretty sure this was one of the very 1st Grateful Dead logos that was every designed ?  Either right after, or right before ( I think after ? ) the 1966 Mouse / Kelley " Bertha " - which 1st appeared on the 1966 Avalon Ballroom Poster ... FD-26 !  I do know that this design was used on a couple / few GDP " Mailorder " Tickets ... the fancy ones - with the glitter.  But, no ' Glamour ' here at all ... just down & dirty '67 Grateful Dead !! - from the Pigpen Era !!  And apparently, as the story goes - this Envelope was retrieved from the Grateful Dead 710 Haight / Ashbury House that the Band occupied as a group in 1965 - 1966 through Late-1967.  When they were moving out - some things were left behind ... including this G.D. Logoed Stationery Envelope !  Used at the time for Fan Mail - Letters - and what have you.  However, I have no Certificate of Authenticity ( C.O.A. ) of any sort to provide.  However, it does make pretty good sense - when you think of the actual timeline ... 1967 ! - well-over 50-Years Ago !!!  The Logo ! on this one - it's just a Complete-Beauty !!  And could definitely be framed, collected, or maybe used too to keep Your ! prized Grateful Dead Tickets inside.  A bit of wear on both sides, with a few marks - but all things considered ... pretty darn good condition.  No creases, folds - or anything like that - as this item has been safely collected & stored for well-over 50-Years !  My thoughts are that someone out there will treasure this Vintage-Original piece of Rock n' Roll !! & Grateful Dead !!! " Ephemera " !!!!  Enjoy !!! & Look-Out ! for that G.D. Skeleton-Viking !! - as he looks like nothing will get in his way - for some Good Ol' Grateful Dead Music !!!!!  A Really-Awesome ! " Ultra-Rare !! " G.D. Item for the Collector !!!
Item Condition
:  This is an Ultra-Rare ! Vintage-Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead 1967 " G.D. Viking Logo " Envelope ( Mailing / Stationery - Envelope / # 10 Size ) used for sending letters, fan mail, etc..  It is in Very Good condition overall, with a few assorted marks on both sides of the envelope, as shown in the photos provided.
