    Assembly Instructions For Lehman's Racers (Steel Runner Sleds)
    Remove the sled, steering bar, rope and hardware from the box.
    Using a 3/8" wrench, loosen the two nuts on the black brace enough to slide the wooden steering bar in between the two plates. (Be sure the brace is on correctly - the longer part should be pointing toward the front of the sled and the shorter part toward the back of the sled, as shown at right.)
    Slide the wooden steering bar in between the two black plates as shown at right. The beveled holes should be facing up.
    Insert screws into the two holes, then tighten the nuts of all four screws until secure.
    Place ends of rope down through the beveled holes in the steering bar. Tie a knot in each end.
