This rare1900s German "Washington Mixture" litho humidor hinged 50 gram tobacco tin, measuring 1" x 3 1/8" x 4 1/4", is in very good condition with no rust, some lid edge crimps and some very minor age related paint scratches and plating loss. The hinge is in excellent working order. This striking red, white and blue tin features a portrait of George Washington superimposed on an American flag with 44 stars (1891-1896). The tobacco was manufactured by Gerhard Schiele Tobacco Manufacturer, Frankfurt, Germany.
