crankshaft is features: 4340 AQ Chromalloy steel non-twist forgings; Multiple stage heat treatments; X-rayed; Magnafluxed and Sonic tested; Completely
CNC
machined with a two step micro polishing on the journals; Oil passages are cross drilled; Large radius, Crankshafts are plasma nitride to a minimum depth of 0.060; 3D exclusively designed arrow counterweights and gun drilled mains for 20% less crankcase windage than our competitors. 1 inch lightening holes in all 4 rod throws reduces rotating mass and helps eliminate the need of Mallory when balancing.
